Making your own iced tea is quite simple and takes only minutes. I take 8 tea bags (feel free to use whatever brand you’d like and of course organic is always a choice), boil about a cup or two of water and let the tea bags hang out in a heat safe bowl. At this point you can add sugar, honey, or any other sweeteners.
I prefer to drink mine without anything. If you used a sweetener let it dissolve and set aside to cool long enough to pour into your pitcher. I like my tea strong so I usually cut off the strings and let the bags hang out in the bottom of the pitcher. Just add fresh water to fill the rest of the pitcher and refrigerate until completely chilled. When serving you can garnish with a fresh lemon and any herbs you like!
