This is a healthier and incredibly tasty alternative to store bought taco seasoning packets which are usually loaded with sodium and other unnecessary ingredients. Feel free to use this mix in Mexican dips and other creations!
- 4 tbsp. chili powder
- 2 tbsp. onion powder
- 2 tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. arrow root
- 2 tbsp. ground cumin
- 4 tsp. paprika
- 4 tsp. dried oregano
- 2 tbsp. course sea salt, or to taste
- sprinkle of crushed red pepper (optional)
- 3/4 cup of water or a little more
Whisk together and store in an air tight container. For 1 lb of ground beef I’ll use anywhere from 3-4 tablespoons and 3/4 cup of water, sometimes a little more. You can always add more salt to taste.
